DogPAC Political Philosophy

The mission of government is to provide for the common defense, to promote the general welfare, and to secure the blessings of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for ourselves and our posterity. To that end, the government must promote the public health, and favor the public health when questions of public health conflict with public morality. The government must foster an honest and productive business climate that supports the creation of sufficient wealth that its concentration does not impair the well-being of the poor. The government must generally seek to use the minimum force necessary to achieve its mission, and kill only those people it is absolutely necessary to kill. The government must generally seek to stay out of the People's lives and livelihoods. And now, because there are so many Federal laws and regulations that the laws must be selectively and capriciously enforced (which makes America no longer a free society but rather a tyranny of faceless bureacrats and mindless activists), DogPAC demands that the Congress review the entire body of Federal Law and Regulation every ten years and sunset those laws and regulations that are unnessary or have been abused.
