Subject: Do some Muslims have an ego problem?
Here's one from a spokes woman for the Musharraf government in Pakistan, regarding Pope Benedict XVI's remarks to the effect that it is unfortunate that the Prophet exhorted his followers at some places and in some times to spread Islam by the sword:
In other words, "We are not intolerant, and if you say we are, we will kill you, you bastards."
Intolerance comes from a "superiority complex" which is actually a cover-opposite for an inferiority complex. My advice to the intolerant ones is to get over it, and get on with building a decent life for the ummah you claim to care so much about, instead of trying to condemn them to perpetual poverty and conflict.
Anyone who describes Islam as a religion as intolerant encourages violence.
